Every Thursday night, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, visitors to our Northwest Community Kitchen receive a warm meal and kind hospitality.
Hosted in our Fellowship Hall, this meal is a tangible expression of God’s grace to our community. Groups from area churches, service organizations, and schools help to serve the warmth of meals and hospitality.
Volunteer, Support, or Give Suggestions
The Community Kitchen is looking for people willing to serve others by preparing meals, sharing expressions of hospitality, and cleaning up. We also welcome financial and prayer support as well as ideas on who we can improve such a meal of grace. Please contact Community Kitchen Coordinator, Deb Stapley, for more information. The Neighborhood Mission Team helps give larger vision and support to this ministry. To learn more about this ministry team, please contact Glenn Swier (through the church office) or Karsten Voskuil.
