create and connect sunday school

Connect with Trinity people of all ages, create, and delve deeply into scripture and the liturgical seasons through classes that reflect your personality, passion, and learning style.  Learning stations change periodically.  In January, choose from storytelling, hands on service projects, or study (see descriptions below).  All classes begin 15 minutes after worship is over and meet until 12:15 on Sunday mornings.

Second Chance Clothing Store service projects:  Families will have the opportunity to drive or walk to the store on Leonard Street immediately after worship to help take down and pack away Christmas decorations and rotate merchandise for the upcoming week.  This is fun work for all ages and is especially appropriate for children who love to help and feel competent and needed.  Working alongside other TRC adults and teens is a wonderful way to model Christian service and enfold young children into the Trinity community.

Storytelling:  Scripture narratives are often short on details, requiring us to wrestle with the characters, situations, and unspecified particulars before we discover new insights and gain strength for our own lives.   Join the storytelling group to imaginatively delve deeply into favorite Scripture stories, be amazed at the insights of young and old alike, and discover fresh applications for your daily walk with Christ.

Cinema & Study:  Watch movie clips and explore the faith questions they raise.

Coming in February:  Sing-for-the-joy-of-it; Social Justice study group; Foundations (for infants – 2 year old children and their parents)

Coming in March:  Prayer, Praise, and Pilgimage
